DEM Planet conversion

Someone told me that I can convert DEM Planet Files to ASCII files using Pathloss.
I tried to do it but I couldn't.

Someone know if is possible and how to do it?

To do this just use the conver to ascii option under the terrain database dialog in the pathloss software....

However it may be easier and faster to just buy the data already in the 30m format.... I would suggest checking out www.pathstudydata.com they have some really good sales and bargains on data, best state deals around.

There are several ways of converting ASCII data to binary form that the Pathloss program can use. USGS and GRIDASCII are two examples. There is however no way to covert binary data to ASCII.
