How can I associate these performance objectives with the path calculation results generated by the Pathloss?

Based on the prediction modules you select Path Loss will calculate the outage seconds as SES/yearly or SES/Monthly. Before you do your link design you must set your performance objectives based on ITU Recommendations such as 821, G826 and G 828. For example for a back bone link using 7 GHz the objectives could e setfor an availability of 99.999 % or for an unavailability objectives 300 SES. If path loss gives you SES > your set objectives (300 SES) your link design has not met the required outage objectives and you must find ways to increase the link fad margin to reduce the outage seconds.

Ericsson Path Calculation software has provision in to calculate and compare the set and calculated performance objectives. This is a good feature and saves lots of headaches.
