Hello everyone,
First time poster, first time user to pathloss.
After reading the lovely instruction manual, I still cannot find a way to get the coordinates from my excel spreadsheet into pathloss. I can save it as an .svc file, but thats where I get stuck. How can I accomplish this task?

- What data rows do I need in the excel sheet?
- I am starting from scratch
- I would also like to be able to add data to this as well.

Thank you very much for all your help!
Jonathan

You have all the instruction in the addedum.pdf (you can Download it). This feature is not explained in the manual.

Hey,
The supplement did not help. When I tried it, it kept on saying how I did not have a pl4 file. What I am trying to do is, from an Excel spreadsheet, create a pl4 file that I can then use to compare different sites.

Thanks!

Ok.

If you want to export from Excel to pathloss, you have to use the Network Module. Menu: Site Data -> Site List. You have 2 options in the Import Menu: Site Text File & Link Text File.
If you want to import to pathloss only sites, use first. In both cases (only sites or links) maybe you have to manipulate the data a little bit in excel sheets in order to math the file with pathloss fields.

At any case there is a help that can give you more info for that field and TXT file format.

Rgds,

J
