Pathloss 4.0 - configurations

The Basic Pathloss program contains all features for the transmission design of point to point radio networks. Two optional features can be added to this basic program:

  • The Area Coverage option adds multi-site signal coverage or line of sight prediction capability.
  • The Microwave Interference option calculates receiver threshold degradation and the associated reduction in link availability produced by the frequency plan.

With either of these options, automated design features and a map grid module to display backdrops in tiff or bitmap formats are included.

The part numbers and descriptions for the basic program and options are listed in the following table:

The options can be added to the basic program at a later date. The prices for these additions are:

Upgrades from earlier Windows & DOS versions (Please include both serial numbers of your program when ordering)
Pathloss 4.0 (PL4U)  The Basic program with the Area Coverage option. (Coverage option included to maintain feature compatibility with Version 3.0)
Pathloss 4.0 (PL4UI)  As above, but includes the Microwave Interference option
